New Members Selected to Carry Out ASID’s Mission of Impacting Lives
TEMPLE, Texas (October 19, 2022) – Wilsonart, a world-class innovator of engineered surfaces, is pleased to announce the appointment of Teresa Humphrey, LEED AP ID+C, Director of Commercial Specifications for Wilsonart, to the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) 2023 National Board of Directors. The board comprises design leaders from across all sectors of the design community, with 11 members in total, including three officers (chair, chair-elect, and past-chair), seven at-large directors, and an industry partner representative. The term for the new board began October 1 and will run through September 30, 2023.
“We are thrilled to have a member of the Wilsonart team serving on the board of ASID,” said Andrew Korzen, vice president of sales at Wilsonart. “Teresa is a results-oriented leader who is passionate about design and its impact on our society. Her diverse experience, leadership and commitment to ASID’s mission and members will serve them well.”
Humphrey’s career with Wilsonart spans more than 29 years, during which she has held various organizational roles. In her current position, she spearheads the North American Commercial Specifications and National Account teams, bringing Wilsonart surfaces to commercial spaces across the globe. Through a positive attitude and dedicated work ethic, Humphrey guides a team of individuals who are committed to building and maintaining customer relationships within the A&D community.

ASID’s board acts as the association’s governing body and advises the Society through administration and policy-setting. Through the implementation of proposed strategies, the board will guide ASID with the goal of exemplifying the profession’s ability to influence lives and affect change in all aspects of the world. The board’s robust backgrounds offer unique perspectives to help grow and further ASID as the leading organization for the interior design community.
